Professor László Forró, Institute of Physics of Complex Matter,
Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland
"From Nanostructures to Biomaterials"
Abstract: Biomolecules like actin, microtubules, DNA, intermediate
filaments etc. have sizes comparable to nanostructures like
fullerides, fullerene polymers, carbon nanotubes, inorganic
nanowires. In this talk I will illustrate how can we use the
experimental methods elaborated for these latter systems to
obtain relevant quantities for biomaterials.
