CCNY- MSKCC Partnership Graduate Program Award: Extended Deadline: September 21, 2011
The CCNY- MSKCC Partnership Graduate program is offering research awards for select Master’s students. We are interested in students from underrepresented minority population and students who are interested in health disparities and community health to apply. We have limited numbers of awards for select Master’s students and it’s highly competitive.
Below are the requested materials and requirements for an award application. This award can be used for salary support or research supplies.

Budget justification ( how you plan to spend the money).
What are your future goals ( one paragraph)
Career development plan.
What type of research you plan to do once you graduate?
What are your professional goals?
Two recommendation letters (sealed or directly e-mail at naslam01@ccny.cuny.edu).
Proposal approval letter from mentor (directly e-mail at naslam01@ccny.cuny.edu).
Statement from the mentor stating how they plan on helping the student reach their professional goals (directly e-mail at <naslam01@ccny.cuny.edu).
Program Requirements:
· Attend monthly journal club
· National conference
· Partnership Symposium
· Ethical research training
On-line Modules.
All trainees must complete one of the RCR courses appropriate to their
discipline through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). The
courses may be accessed through the CUNY Research website:
https://www.citiprogram.org/
The available courses include:
o RCR in Biomedical research
o RCR in Social and Behavioral Science research
o RCR in Physical Science research
o RCR in Humanities research
o RCR in Engineering research
In addition,
All trainees must complete CITI Human Research Subjects Training Modules
Each trainee must have completed the most appropriate on-line training
module within six (6) weeks of being supported by, or performing research on
a sponsored project. A certificate of completion should be printed and a copy
must be provided to Nadia Noman
****You MUST be a USA Citizen or Permanent Resident in order to receive funding.
****You are not eligible, if you are receiving funding from any other research Federal grant.
Extended Deadline to submit all the paper work is September 21, 2011
