Thursday, March 27 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. in Steinman
Rm 2M05, the program officers of American Society for Engineering Education, will give a presentation for undergraduate, graduate, post doctoral, and faculty on research and educational funding. ASEE administers over 60,000,000 dollars in funding every year, sponsored by NSF, the DoD, and other major government agencies.
Program officers Tom Juliano, Annie Thebprasith, and Andre Bierzynski from ASEE will give an informational presentation on how to build a competitive application, eligibility requirements, and how to apply to win a fellowship. All students in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, psychology, sociology, linguistics, and economics, both undergraduate and graduate, are urged to attend.
The office of student development, center of student research and scholarship of the Grove School of Engineering will host this funding seminar. Refreshments will be provided, and all are welcome to attend.
