The CUNY Doctoral Program in Chemistry is a unique multi-campus consortium that offers graduate students several advantages: a wide diversity of faculty research interests, an abundance of research equipment and instrumentation, interdisciplinary and collaborative research, and opportunities for teaching assistantships. In terms of expertise and instrumentation, this consortial structure allows doctoral students access to the state-of-the-art research infrastructure of a large research university, but have the mentoring, guidance and training afforded by smaller departments.
